Our projects in Spain are based on awareness, integration and social inclusion of the migrant and refugee population, especially women.
Supporting families at risk of exclusion
At URDA we know that, in order to achieve a real integration of the refugee population, it is essential to increase knowledge about their reality in the host societies. Therefore, we work to raise social awareness in this area by informing society in general about the situation of refugees.
Empowerment
women’s empowerment
Likewise, in Spain we develop projects aimed at the real inclusion of refugees, especially women, through their labor and emotional empowerment. Examples of these actions are our refugiARTE experiences for citizens and companies, and the development and creation of artisan products in our Shop with ALMA.
All these actions allow refugee women or women in similarly vulnerable situations effective access to the labor market that allows them to achieve the necessary economic independence, while strengthening their skills and self-esteem.
We want to break the
circle of poverty
